PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

The ‘Parent Teacher Association’ includes all parents and carers of children at Little Mead Primary Academy. There’s also a smaller group of individuals referred to as the ‘PTA Committee’ that take on the job of organising events throughout the school year.

The PTA aim to generate a sense of community whilst raising funds for the school to enhance the experience for the children. The PTA do this by:

• Raising funds to support the school
• Contributions to large projects
• Contributions to school initiatives
• Subsiding school trips
• Funding and support for school events
• Running family orientated events to enrich the school year
• Ensure all child focused events are accessible to all children

Little Mead is very proud of its PTA members who work so incredibly hard to bring exciting opportunities to the children and support the school in any way they can.

The PTA have organised some fantastic events this year such as Christmas and summer fayres, colour run, easter egg hunt, year 6 disco and tuckshops. The PTA support the school in raising money for charities and also help out at many school events such as Nursery and Reception open days, parents evenings and sports days.
